Entry: FREE – No charge, subject to compliance with these Terms and Conditions By registering for and attending the Futuready event (“Event”), you (“Attendee” or “You”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”). These T&Cs form a legally binding agreement between You and Platinum Services Oxford Ltd. Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry, removal from the Event, or other actions as outlined below.
General Admission
1.1 Pre-Registration and Tickets:
· Admission is free but requires pre-registration via Eventbrite and presentation of a valid Eventbrite ticket (digital or printed) at entry.
· Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and valid only for the named registrant.
We reserve the right to refuse entry if ticket details do not match the attendee’s identification.
1.2 Identification:
All attendees must present valid photo identification (e.g., passport, driving licence, or a clear digital copy showing date of birth) at registration. Failure to provide valid ID will result in refusal of entry without exception.
1.3 Age Restrictions:
This event is for attendees aged 21 or older. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible guardian aged 21 or older, who must remain with the attendee at all times. Guardians assume full responsibility for the conduct and safety of their dependents.
1.4 Entry Code:
Attendees must watch the official 1-minute Event video and present the secret phrase or code provided therein at registration to gain entry. We reserve the right to deny entry to attendees who fail to provide the correct code.
1.5 Wristbands:
Upon entry, attendees will receive a colour-coded wristband, which must be worn at all times to access Event areas.
Wristbands indicate eligibility for specific zones (e.g., Recruiters Lounge, prize competitions). Lost, damaged, or removed wristbands may result in denial of access to certain areas or removal from the Event at the discretion of security staff. Replacement wristbands may be issued solely at the discretion of the registration desk upon verification of ID and ticket.
1.6 Right to Refuse Entry:
We reserve the absolute right to refuse entry or remove any attendee for non-compliance with these T&Cs, at Our sole discretion, without liability or obligation to provide a refund or compensation.
Dress Code & Identification
2.1 Dress Code:
Attendees must wear attire suitable for a family-friendly, professional environment. Inappropriate clothing (e.g., offensive slogans or excessively revealing attire) is prohibited. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove attendees who fail to comply with the dress code.
2.2 Face Coverings:
Clothing or accessories that conceal the face (e.g., balaclavas, ski masks, costume masks) are prohibited, except for religious face coverings or medical masks. Security may request temporary removal of exempt face coverings for identity verification, conducted respectfully and in accordance with UK law.
2.3 Enforcement:
We, Our staff, and security personnel reserve the right to refuse entry or remove attendees who fail to comply with dress code or identification requirements, without liability.
Behaviour & Conduct
3.1 Expected Conduct:
Attendees must act courteously and respectfully toward other attendees, volunteers, exhibitors, staff, venue employees, and third parties at all times.
3.2 Zero Tolerance Policy:
Any aggressive, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate removal from the Event, a permanent ban from future events, and potential referral to law enforcement if the behaviour constitutes a criminal offence under UK law.
3.3 Prohibited Items and Actions:
Items or actions deemed offensive, disruptive, or dangerous (e.g., noise devices, protest materials, unauthorised signage) are strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to confiscate such items and remove the attendee from the premises.
3.4 Harassment and Intimidation:
Harassment or intimidation of any person, including students, staff, exhibitors, or other attendees, is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and potential legal action.
3.5 Compliance with Instructions:
Attendees must comply with all instructions from Event staff, security, or venue personnel. Failure to comply may result in removal from the Event without liability to Us.
Security Checks & Prohibited Items
4.1 Security Procedures:
All attendees are subject to mandatory bag searches and personal searches (e.g., bags, coats) by security staff to ensure safety. Refusal to comply with security checks will result in denial of entry or removal from the Event.
4.2 Prohibited Items:
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
- Weapons or items deemed potential weapons (e.g., knives, sharp objects).
- Illegal substances or drugs.
- Hazardous materials (e.g., flammable liquids, chemicals).
- Fireworks, flares, or explosives.
- Alcohol.
- Any item deemed by security to pose a risk to safety or order.
Prohibited items will be confiscated, and attendees may be denied entry or removed from the Event.
4.3 Security Discretion:
Security staff have sole discretion to determine whether an item or attendee poses a risk, and their decisions are final.
Health, Safety & Emergency Measures
5.1 Compliance with Laws:
The Event will comply with all applicable UK health and safety legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
5.2 First Aid and Emergencies:
Trained first aiders will be available throughout the Event. Attendees must immediately report any accident, injury, or medical emergency to Event staff. Emergency exits will be clearly marked, and attendees must follow staff or security instructions during an evacuation or emergency.
5.3 Attendee Responsibility:
Attendees participate in the Event at their own risk and are solely responsible for their personal safety and that of any dependents or guardians accompanying them. Attendees must exercise reasonable care to avoid injury or damage to themselves or others.
5.4 Liability Disclaimer:
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, We, Our staff, the venue, and Our contractors shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage caused by an attendee’s reckless behaviour, failure to follow safety instructions, or any act or omission beyond Our reasonable control. Attendees waive any right to bring claims against Us for injuries or losses arising from their participation, except where caused by Our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Entry Requirements & Eligibility
6.1 Eligibility Criteria:
Entry and participation in giveaways or admissions support is restricted to attendees who:
- Are UK residents eligible for Student Finance or international students applying for undergraduate study in the UK.
- Have not previously started or completed a UK undergraduate degree.
- Are not applying for a UK Master’s degree.
- Are an international student.
- Are aged 21 or older, or accompanied by a guardian aged 21 or older who remains on-site.
- Have registered via Eventbrite with accurate details and consented to these T&Cs.
6.2 Verification:
Attendees must provide truthful and accurate information at registration. Providing false information may result in immediate removal, a ban from future events, and potential reporting to authorities if fraud is suspected.
Entry to the Recruiters Lounge is restricted to graduates or students enrolled through Platinum Services Oxford Ltd, verified by wristband colour and registration details.
6.3 Right to Deny Access:
We reserve the right to deny entry or participation to any attendee who does not meet eligibility criteria or fails to comply with registration requirements, without liability.
Competitions & Prize Draws
7.1 General Rules:
All competitions and giveaways are free to enter and may be skill-based or chance-based, as specified.
Participation is subject to compliance with these T&Cs and any additional rules announced at the Event.
7.2 Presence Requirement:
Winners must be physically present at the Event to claim prizes, unless otherwise specified. If a winner is not present within 5 minuets of being called, the prize may be re-drawn or re-awarded to an eligible attendee on-site.
7.3 Dubai Ticket Giveaways:
Ticket 1: Awarded to the first attendee to solve all Event riddles and locate the hidden golden ticket QR code on-site.
Ticket 2: Awarded through a separate activity, details of which will be provided at the Event.
*Winners must present valid ID to claim the prize.
7.4 Laptop Giveaways:
Laptop 1: Awarded to the attendee with the highest combined total of shares, comments, and likes on official Event social media content by 11:59 PM BST, 26 August 2025, as verified by Us.
Laptop 2: Awarded to the first attendee to locate the hidden QR code inside the venue.
Laptop 3: Details to be announced on the Event day.
7.5 FIFA Tournament:
- Open to attendees aged 21 or older.
- Two winners will be determined through knockout stages.
- Participants must be present within 5 minutes of their scheduled match time, or they forfeit their place, and the next eligible player will be called.
7.6 Prize Conditions:
Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash alternative.
Winners must provide valid photo ID to claim prizes.
We reserve the right to substitute prizes with items of equivalent value if necessary, without prior notice.
Prize winners are responsible for any taxes, duties, or additional costs associated with accepting or using the prize.
7.7 No Liability for Prizes:
We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from the use or acceptance of any prize, to the fullest extent permitted by UK law.
Admissions & Enrolment
8.1 Role of Platinum Services:
We act solely as an intermediary facilitating on-the-spot university applications. Applications are subject to each partner university’s eligibility criteria, requirements, and final admission decisions. We do not guarantee offers, enrolment, or Student Finance outcomes.
8.2 Attendee Responsibility:
Attendees must provide accurate and truthful information to partner universities. Providing false information may result in application rejection, a ban from future services, and potential legal consequences.
8.3 No Liability for Outcomes:
We are not liable for any failure to secure university admission, Student Finance, or any related outcome, except where caused by Our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Photography, Filming & Media
9.1 Consent to Media:
By attending the Event, You consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded (including live streaming) by Our authorised media team. Such media may be used for marketing, promotional, news, or future event purposes without compensation or prior approval.
9.2 Opting Out:
Attendees who do not wish to be photographed or filmed must notify the registration desk upon arrival. While We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, We cannot guarantee that Your image will not be captured in public areas or crowd shots. You waive any right to claim against Us for the use of Your image, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misuse.
9.3 Third-Party Media:
We are not responsible for photographs, videos, or recordings taken by other attendees or third parties not authorised by Us.
Liability & Personal Belongings
10.1 Personal Belongings:
Attendees are solely responsible for their personal belongings. We, the venue, Our staff, and contractors accept no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal property, to the fullest extent permitted by UK law. Attendees are strongly advised not to bring valuables to the Event.
10.2 General Liability Disclaimer:
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, We, the venue, Our staff, and contractors shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, or expense incurred by attendees, except where caused by Our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Attendees acknowledge that participation in the Event is at their own risk.
10.3 Indemnity:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Platinum Services Oxford Ltd, its affiliates, staff, contractors, and the venue from any claims, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from Your actions, negligence, or breach of these T&Cs.
Cancellations, Postponement & Force Majeure
11.1 Event Changes:
We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, or modify the Event (including venue, date, or format) due to unforeseen circumstances beyond Our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics, or venue unavailability (“Force Majeure”).
11.2 No Liability for Costs:
In the event of cancellation, postponement, or modification, We are not liable for any costs incurred by attendees, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or other expenses.
11.3 Notification:
We will make reasonable efforts to notify attendees of changes via Eventbrite, email, or Our website as early as possible, but We are not liable for any failure to receive such notifications.
Data Protection
12.1 Data Protection12.1 Compliance with UK Law:
All personal data collected during registration or at the Event will be processed in strict accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).
12.2 Use of Personal Data:
By registering for the Event, You explicitly consent to Platinum Services Oxford Ltd collecting, storing, and processing Your personal data (including name, contact details, and other information provided) for the following purposes:
- Event management (e.g., registration, ticketing, and wristband allocation).
- Admissions follow-up with partner universities (where applicable).
- Impact reporting and analysis of Event outcomes.
- Marketing communications, including emails and telephone calls, about future events, services, or opportunities offered by Platinum Services Oxford Ltd or its partners.
We may share Your data with third parties (e.g., Eventbrite, partner universities) solely as necessary for Event operations or as required by law. Any third-party processors will be bound by UK GDPR-compliant agreements.
12.3 Consent for Marketing Communications:
- By registering, You explicitly consent to receiving marketing communications from Platinum Services Oxford Ltd via email and telephone calls after the Event. These communications may include information about future events, career services, or educational opportunities.
- You acknowledge that telephone calls will comply with PECR, and We will screen numbers against the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) to ensure compliance.
- You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by:

Requesting removal from Our call list during any telephone contact.
12.4 Data Rights:
You have the right to access, correct, restrict, or request deletion of Your personal data, subject to Our legal obligations (e.g., retaining data for tax or fraud prevention purposes). If You believe Your data has been mishandled, You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at www.ico.org.uk.
12.5 Data Retention:
Personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in 12.2 or as required by law. Marketing data will be retained until You opt out or for a maximum of 3 years post-Event, whichever is sooner, unless You re-engage with Us.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
13.1 Governing Law:
These T&Cs are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
13.2 Jurisdiction:
Any disputes arising from or in connection with these T&Cs or the Event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13.3 Severability:
If any provision of these T&Cs is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
13.4 Entire Agreement:
These T&Cs constitute the entire agreement between You and Us regarding the Event and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
13.5 No Waiver:
Our failure to enforce any provision of these T&Cs shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
Additional Provisions
14.1 Third-Party Rights:
No provision of these T&Cs is intended to confer any benefit on, or be enforceable by, any third party under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999, except as expressly stated.
14.2 Assumption of Risk:
Attendees acknowledge and accept all risks associated with attending the Event, including but not limited to risks of injury, property damage, or exposure to illness, except where caused by Our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
14.3 No Partnership or Agency:
Nothing in these T&Cs creates a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between You and Us.
14.4 Amendments:
We reserve the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. Updated T&Cs will be communicated via Eventbrite or Our website, and continued attendance constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Agreement
By registering for and/or attending the Futuready Event, You confirm that You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. You acknowledge that non-compliance may result in refusal of entry, removal from the Event, or other actions as outlined above, without liability to Platinum Services Oxford Ltd.
