About the Programme

The event industry is contributing £58.4 billion to GDP Growth and is the UK’s 16th largest employer (UKEIS 2013). In July 2015, in acknowledgment of the importance that events have made to the UK economy, the Prime Minister announced the formation of a Dedicated Events Industry Board. It is the duty of this Board to further the interests of this incredibly prominent field. The goal of the Event Management Program is to help students place themselves as pioneers in this growing field and to help ensure that they have enough skills to obtain graduate positions once the course is completed.

Why study this Programme

A degree in event management is a great destination for those who are new to the field of event management to learn from the initial concept. You will graduate with the establishment of a collection of professional activities and a variety of marketable business skills. You will adapt and evolve a new set of skills such as but not limited to; Coordination, Significant market awareness, and consumer understanding, Solution-resolving, Numeracy, Information Technology (IT), Project production management, and developing your research skillsets.
