About this Programme
Cloud Computing is a computer networking discipline dealing with the management of massive data in data centers, optimisation and the implementation of cloud services. Candidates to this program should usually be technologically inclined and may have previously studied electronics, computing or science. This course is designed for undergraduate who are intrigued by computer networks but majoring in areas such as virtual machine and computer software used in network infrastructure that support cloud-based services. They would also be skilled in database systems and contributing to the achievement of analysing and processing large amounts of data and developing cloud services.
Why study this Programme
Large-scale information is recorded in data centers and networked systems delivered through virtual machines, while "large data" includes a range of different application-specific approaches to processing and sharing. Students will also be able to incorporate services to provide such data for analysis and manipulation along a range of applications that they will also be able to create. Graduates of this program are required to seek jobs as data analysts, application developers, data center engineers, etc.
