About the Programme

HND Human Resources Management (HRM) prepares you for an effective level of employment in the HRM sector or advancement to higher education /professional credentials by continuing to improve the basic knowledge of conceptual HRM and relevant concepts. Students should improve their awareness and understanding of more challenging HRM topics such as employee resourcing, talent management , performance governance and HRM studies.

Why study this programme

Students on HND in Business (Human Resource Management) are exposed to key elements of human resource management, including the role and purpose of human resource management. This knowledge is then constructed on to give a wider perspective on human resource management practices. Topics discussed also include the role of preparation and personnel development, including consideration of government skills initiatives; and workplace relations in the United Kingdom, including labour tension, dispute resolution and negotiation.
